Splish Splash in Paignton

For a great family day out whilst you’re staying at Galmpton Touring Park why not head off 3 miles/10 minute drive away to the Splashdown Waterpark at Goodrington Sands?

Enjoy-Galmpton_Beach-huts

Located next to Goodrington Beach, Splashdown Waterpark@Quaywest is the largest water park in the UK which offers something for the whole family, regardless of age! And if splashing around in the water isn’t your thing – Splashdown is still an excellent starting point to take in the beautiful views of Goodrington Beach and the surrounding area that makes up this part of the stunning South Devon coast.

For thrill-seekers, there are 8 different flume rides, The Devil’s Drop, the Screamer and the Wild Kaikaze being 3 of the most exciting, as well as swimming pools (with heated water) and other great activities such as mat rides which are guaranteed to entertain both the younger and older kids in your family!

For the younger children the Submarine Splash and the Tiddler’s Fun Pool are still good fun and there is also an amusement arcade, go-karts and the neighboring beach to explore if splashing around isn’t your thing!

Various all day “Flume and Go” passes can be purchased which means you can spend time on the beach and pop back into the park whenever you feel like it throughout the day and lockers can be hired (situated in the changing areas) for 20p which is non-refundable.

If you’re feeling hungry, Boarders Café serves burgers, chips, pies, snacks and various drinks and all food consumed in the park must be purchased from either Boarders or one of the kiosks where you can obtain slushes/ice creams etc.

To entertain the older kids throughout the summer, the park also holds “Late Night Friday Fluming” sessions between 6-9pm.

*For an additional admission charge, 12-18 year olds can join in the fun on the Splashdown Quaywest dance floor whilst DJs play the latest tunes!*

*We advise that you check Splashdown’s website for latest admission prices/opening times etc.
