A grand day out to Weston-Super-Mare!
The entrance fee to the pier is £1 per person (children in pushchairs are free of charge) and if you love the thrill of the fair then you will have to buy an *Unlimited Rides Wristband, which will guarantee you continued access to a whole load of exciting rides and attractions actually located on the pier, throughout your visit. A must try is the one and only Robocoaster.
Robocoaster is Britain’s smallest rollercoaster and runs across the inside ceiling area of the Pier’s pavilion. Developed from a robotic arm, this exciting ride takes it’s 2 passengers around, up and down as well as upside down – an experience to witness let alone endure!
Other family favorites such as Go-Karts, Dodgems, Helter Skelter as well as the House of Horrors and an amazing 4D Cinema are also to-hand.
The Pavilion building also boasts function rooms, wedding venues, conference facilities and entertainment areas which are all proving to be very popular – why not check to see what’s on around the time of your visit and maybe arrange a family night out?
Meal times soon roll around and you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating! If the kids want a burger, treat them in the F1 themed Pitstop Café or for something more traditional you really should try the unbeatable fish and chips at the Boardwalk Café! Other seaside treats such as fresh donuts, and ice cream can also be found at the Pier and you can’t leave without trying something sweet!
Once lunch is over, why not stop off for an hour or two at the Arcade? With a choice of over 500 machines – with games ranging from air hockey to the latest video games and from shooting galleries to dance stages, the whole family are guaranteed a chance of winning something whilst having lots of fun! If you do win something in the Arcade you will be presented with a ticket which you then have to take to the Pier’s Prize shop – here your ticket can be exchanged for a special prize!
Weston-Super-Mare’s Grand Pier is a delightful day out which guarantees traditional family fun!
